"Wellworthit is a creative production powerhouse!"

Wellworthit Pictures is a Los Angeles-based production company that creates premium documentary and scripted content. The company is a union of multi-hyphenate Writer, Director, and Executive Producer, Cristina Colissimo (Disney+ Earthkeepers, One Lucky Elephant/OWN), Executive Producer Jordana Glick-Franzheim (Disney+ Earthkeepers, Netflix’s The Untitled Sandra Bullock Feature), and Executive Producer Jenna Cedicci (Daddy Issues/Netflix, Fire on the Hill/Journeymen).

Together the trio leads a creative powerhouse and veteran production team, working collaboratively with a slate of filmmakers and partners including Disney+, Netflix, Discovery International/Animal Planet, and Supper Club Studios among others.

We pride ourselves on creativity, diversity, innovation and collaboration, and it is through that lens that we develop popular genres and formats from a fresh perspective. By focusing on engaging and inspiring non-fiction projects, and impact-driven narratives, Wellworthit aims to consistently raise the bar on authentic, insightful, well-crafted stories that entertain while sparking curiosity and conversation.

With a development slate spanning nearly all genres, Wellworthit’s ethos is to create  premium content that is consistently well-worth watching.

In Production

Diversity & Global Health

As a company led by ethnically diverse partners, Wellworthit is committed to supporting diversity, inclusion and equal justice. Much of the content we produce reflects global perspectives and global stories, and all of our productions are comprised of balanced teams of talented individuals with diverse origins, cultures, and experiences from all walks of life. Wellworthit nurtures a creative and inclusive environment, where people of different experiences can contribute at their highest level and where their contributions make a positive difference, not only to the content we create, but to us as individuals and to our company as a whole.

Our commitment to the natural world and the ecosystems, cultures and communities we film within is part of our ethos, and giving back to the world that brings us many of the incredible stories we tell, is at the very heart of everything we do at Wellworthit.

Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had forged an advisory role with Gorilla Doctors, the only organization in the world dedicated to conserving mountain and eastern lowland (Grauer’s) gorillas through veterinary medicine, science and a One Health approach that recognizes the growing connection between the health of animals, people and the environment.

As part of UC Davis’ One Health Institute, veterinarians from Gorilla Doctors are implementing partners for the USAID’s Emerging Pandemic Threats Program, initiated in 2009 to strengthen health security and global capacity for the detection and discovery of viruses of pandemic potential that can move between animals and people, such as Ebola and SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes Covid-19).

COVID-19 has presented a novel and unprecedented health and safety challenge to all industries and workplaces globally. Welllworthit is committed to maintaining the safest filming practices and will continue to implement updated protocols as they emerge during this challenging time. This is not just an issue for the entertainment industry but one that reaches every person on the planet. For this reason, and many others, we believe that it is our responsibility to ensure everyone we work with is comfortable, willing and able to be a part of a team that creates content in a safe environment.
